$5,776 savings
Targets are already paid for. This year we got 23 palettes. In 2008 we got 24 palettes, but this year was about $900 more than last year.
- There were no June minutes to read because Sue was not at the June meeting.
- The BOM re-discussed buying a new portable trap house. Some people voiced that they didn’t want to do that because there was no where to put it and because it would only benefit the commercial users.
- The BOM discussed that it is absolutely not acceptable for commercial users to stand in-line of the low house incoming target and shoot towards the road. Any person or commercial user caught doing that will be put on “probation” until the BOM decides otherwise.
- Phil will draft a letter to the commercial users reminding them that all their subcontractors need current acceptable certification, insurance, and that they may not shoot outside the stations on either the trap or skeet ranges.
New business:
- Due to new membership applications not being properly filled out, the BOM decided that new applications need to be mailed to the club at the PO Box and be received by Diane before they can become effective.
- Phil will send a letter to the membership reminding them that all members must have a current NRA membership number on file in order to receive member rates.
- Vote: Dana moved to raise target fees in order to have money to spend on lawn and club maintenance. Phil seconded the motion. Vote passed that rates will go from $4 to $5 for members and from $6 to $7 for non-members. Juniors (under 18 unless in 4H) will stay at the current $3.
- Commercial users who are having problems with the paint on the patterning board should pack their on scraper.
