- Sue read minutes from September meeting.
- Treasurer’s report: $7,054 in checking, $15,777 in savings.
- Mike Gross is signed up to be on the Basalt Town Committee on the shooting range. Phil will call Town Council this week to see where it stands on applicants to serve on the committee.
- Phil says that the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is still interested in holding awareness/ fundraiser event at the club to saving habitat from the pressures of energy development.
- The BOM decided that the public hours at the range should remain public. More serious shooters are welcome to reserve the range any time it is available. The BOM asked that shooters reserve the range for a minimum of three hours in order to make it worthwhile for the club to pay the range officers. Shooters need to be club members and are responsible for paying for their targets.
- The club may be in need of a delivery of new targets before winter. Phil agreed to take a count of the available targets.
- Peter Hoffmann will check the fuel level for the furnace for the clubhouse
- Wednesday night shoots will remain in effect through October or until the weather shuts it down
- Daylight savings time is on November 1. At that time, Saturday shooting will switch over to winter hours of 11 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
